LAND OF THE TIGER BY ELLIOTT NEEP WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY (ENWP)

Unfortunately, due to the increased workload of my wildlife photography, I will no longer be able to maintain this website. Over the past 12 months, I hoped to have updated the tiger territories, family tree, and visitng Bandhavgarh pages but have not had the time or information. Please be aware, therefore, that these are now out of date and cannot be relied upon as being accurate.

This is a travel and wildlife guide for Bandhavgarh National Park, located in Madhya Pradesh, India. Within this website are galleries filled with stunning images of wild Bengal tigers and other wonderful Indian wildlife characters. There is detailed information regarding Bengal tigers, their ecology and how we find them in the National Parks. In view of constant feedback, you will also find information regarding travel arrangements to Bandhavgarh National Park and accommodation that comes highly recommended.

I have been photographing wild tigers since early 2003. I usually visit India 2-3 times per year and generally visit the same park, Bandhavgarh. Madhya Pradesh, which covers a massive area southeast of Delhi, is also known as The Tiger State. It holds a number of national parks, the most well known being Bandhavgarh and Kanha. Other notable parks include Panna and Pench. All of these parks are beautiful and are well worth including in your itinerary if you have the time.

But how do you get there? What can you realistically see? Is it safe? Where can I stay? What photo equipment would suit it best? I have been asked these questions so many times that I decided to compile all the answers and information that I know, into this website. So, in this website, you'll find tips for safe travelling to Bandhavgarh, an illustrated guide to wildlife you are likely to see in the park, and details on a highly recommended camp at which to stay.

Enjoy the website and enjoy your trip to Tiger Country!
